I've never been to any SMK reunion. Actually, I only discovered that certain groups held SMK reunions on a yearly basis only fairly recently and now they are gearing up for the grandest one yet (I suppose) which is the SMK Silver anniversary. So, I'd like to know what actually goes on in these events? What sort of activities are lined up during an SMK reunion? For how many days does this reunion last and how does one get to join this reunion? How would the 25th Anniversary Celebration differ from the other reunions held in the past? I would certainly appreciate any information on the matter from anyone who's actually participated in or organized this event.
I was thinking that if I were a part of the 25th anniversary committee (which is impossible, of course...hahaha) I would: 1) have an on the spot essay writing contest on a certain SMK related theme; 2) have a poster/slogan making contest for the Emily Farnsworth wannabes (haha); 3) hold a bake sale of Amanda's specialties like poppy seed cake , as an added fund raiser; 4) give out awards to some of the most outstanding SMK fanfiction writers and music video creators 5) and finally, bring a sense of "closure" to the show by having the stars act out during the reunion, scenes we all wanted to see on the show for example: Lee and Amanda finally telling her family and the agency about their marriage! Do you think Kate and Bruce would be game enough to do this? (I can only wish!) LOL Of course this is aside from the tour and trivia games, dinner and Q&A with the stars. Oh well
